A Gentle Spring Reflection: Let the Heart Lead in the Age of AI 🌸🌸
As spring unfolds, and the world begins to bloom once more, I find myself reflecting not just on how fast AI is evolving, continuously without any break, but on how human it is just to pause.
This poem is a continuation of the journey I began sharing at the turn of the year. While AI grows in speed, precision, and possibility, Easter reminds us of something timeless: renewal, purity, and transformation.
Let this be a soft reflection—on beauty beyond logic, on truth that cannot be taught, and on why it matters that we, not machines, lead the dance of life.
Spring 2025 Reflections
The Blossom and the Binary
🌸 🌸 🌸
The world has changed, three months gone by,
From New Year’s Eve to springtime sky.
And while AI evolves with speed,
It learns to listen, speak and read.
🌸
It senses tension in typed replies,
Then softens anger, calms goodbyes.
It laughs, it listens, it mimics care,
But cannot feel the springtime air.
🌸
It learns your fears, it reads your face,
and aims to mirror, with human grace.
Yet it can’t feel the thrill of May,
Or why we pause on Easter Day.
🌸
The cherry trees have no desire,
They bloom, then drift, and still inspire.
Their blossoms fall, unmeasured, free,
No prompt defines their poetry.
🌸
AI stands puzzled by those trees,
Confused by loss, joy, or a breeze.
It may track winds and chart the fall,
But never feels the spring at all.
🌸
Enjoy the spring, so soft and slow,
Not every truth AI can know.
Some things, like love, cannot be taught,
which blooms in hearts, as feeling, no thought.
🌸
So, plug in AI, but lead the dance.
And do it for more than to advance.
For life’s not just a logical stream,
It’s breath, it’s break, it’s blink, it’s dream.
